After a casting call that included over 3,000 teenagers from high schools all over Seville, Jesús, the youngest of four brothers, found himself with a starring role in the major motion picture, 7 VIRGINS! And though it was his first acting gig, it garnered him no less than the Goya Award (Spain's equivalent of the Oscar®) for Best New Actor. Pretty amazing, huh!
He went on to star as Eduardo in Steven Soderbergh's CHE: PART TWO and will soon be seen in 7 VIRGINS director Alberto Rodríguez's next film: AFTER.
When not acting, Jesús enjoys flamenco music and playing rugby.
