The intense, young actor Ludwig Trepte, who hails from Berlin, Germany, caught the eye of the Picture This staff with his riveting performance in KOMBAT 16, a chilling drama about neo-Nazism.

But it wasn't until we saw Eva Urthaler's film OUT OF HAND that we knew our audience was ready to meet Ludwig. In the film, he plays a young man caught up in the obsessions of his young, male partner in crime, and the adoration of his prisoner, an innocent young woman.

Well trained in martial arts and not afraid of tackling controversial roles, Ludwig has made a name for himself in European film circles, winning the Best Young Actor award at the Max Ophuls Film Festival. (For which film? OUT OF HAND, of course!)
