Born in Brussels, like his A LOVE TO HIDE co-star and good friend Jérémie Rénier, Nicolas "Nico" Gob had his first piano recital at the age of 5.

Splitting his childhood time between school, tennis, karate, piano and dance, Nico also developed a strong passion for film, spending hours on end watching movies and reciting lines from them.

As a teenager, Nico was offered a contract to model by the Olivier Dachkin hair salon chain. When he turned 17, Nico was accepted to the School of Acting Parallax in Brussels. Once there, he met casting director and mentor Patrick Hella, who helped mold him into the actor he is today. Hella also introduced him to George Lambert, the Parisian agent with whom Nico signed after graduating from Parallax.

Since then, Nico has been living in Paris and acting steadily in French television and film.
