Robinson Stévenin won a César award, the French Oscar®-equivalent, for his role as the transsexual Bo in Francis Girod's TRANSFIXED. Critics hailed him as "the French Marlon Brando.
He starred in several other acclaimed films including Claude Miller’s LA PETITE LILI, which was nominated for a Golden Palm (Palme d'Or) Award at the 2003 Cannes Film Festival and which also starred his good friend Ludivine Sagnier (SWIMMING POOL). Stévenin also starred in the 2003 Berlin Film Festival Silver Bear Winner and New York Times "Critic’s Pick" SON FRERE (HIS BROTHER).
Robinson is the brother of noted French actress Salomé Stévenin of Picture This' very own CLARA'S SUMMER and COLD SHOWERS.
