TOUCH Jeremy Podeswa, Canada,
2001, 30 min.
An uncompromising and often disturbing work about
emotional scarring and the cycle of abuse. In a poetic and
highly stylized
treatment, the film details the tragic journey of a physically
and psychologically abused teenaged boy from early childhood
trauma
through to adolescent dysfunction.

“Brendan Fletcher is scary good! The film is a touching and psychologically
astute examination into the very nature of "abnormal desire" that should
be a must viewing! This dreamily shot living nightmare would make a splendid
double bill with Gregg Araki and Scott Heim's Mysterious Skin!”
